Sculpture & Pottery – Clay Studio

Nebojsa Stojkovic
Dig into and explore the expressive nature of clay. Create your own sculpture and useful objects using slab and coil construction. You will also have a chance to try out a potter’s wheel. This course is suitable both for the beginner and more advanced students.

Working from photo images, discovering your individual approach to landscape drawing and painting. Using different drawings and painting medium, we concentrate on developing your perceptual skills through a series of exercises, which gradually increase in range and complexity. Topics covered include the fundamentals of colour theory, the study of light and shadow, composition, visual perspective, paint handling and application.

Watercolour – Beginners

Designed for beginners and for those with a little experience in this medium. Students will learn the basics of watercolour techniques, how to mix colours and brush handling. There will be demonstrations of various paint handling techniques. Working from still life and subjects of the students choice, the course also covers the fundamentals of composition and perspective.
